Nominations must be submitted in writing to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee prior to May 1st of each year. A complete nomination will consist of a biographical overview and a statement indicating how the person's achievements have furthered Barnegay Bay's sailing heritage.

Following the deadline, all complete nominations will be considered by the committee.

Criteria for Nomination Eligibility

> The person must have made significant, positive contributions to Barnegat Bay's sailing heritage.

> Nominees must have demonstrated ability, integrity, and strength of character and performance in making their contributions to Barnegat Bay's sailing heritage.

> The person can be can be drawn from all sailing-oriented areas, regardless of whether their involvement was on the water, or on shore - competitor, designer, instructor, race management...

> Posthumous nominees are permitted, but are subject to the same eligibility criteria.
